Mark L. Leister

Mark L. Leister, 80, of Arcadia, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. Mark was born July 18, 1945, in Tiffin, the son of the late Warren and Esther (Cook) Leister. Mark married Judy Longworth, April 13, 1969, and she survives.

Mark is also survived by sons Steven Leister and Jeff (Kelli) Leister, both of Findlay; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his sister, Alice King of Lakeside.

Mark, in his younger years, enjoyed showing Appaloosa horses, earning high point in the nation. Mark retired from Whirlpool, Findlay division, after 43 years and was involved with Trinity Lutheran Church, Arcadia. He enjoyed going to car shows and flea markets and was also known to help his wife show poodles at running and agility courses. During their many winters in Florida at Travelers Rest Resort in Dade City, Mark enjoyed racing remote-control cars.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 18974 SR 12, Arcadia, OH 44804 Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m. with Vicar Jacinda Jones officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin. The family kindly requests casual dress. COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, has been entrusted with arrangements.
