Mark Duffy Obituary

Mark H. Duffy

Mark H. Duffy, 74, of Findlay, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born August 28, 1951, in Ravenna, to the late Marvin and Ruth (Michener) Duffy. Mark married Mary Holsten, June 26, 1976, and she survives.

Also surviving Mark are two children, Mitch (Jen) Duffy and Megan Duffy; as well as three grandchildren, Connor, Benjamin and Alexandria.

Mark graduated from Findlay High School in 1969 and Union College in 1973. He did his graduate work through Mount Saint Joseph, Bowling Green State University and The University of Toledo. Mark retired after 33 years as a teacher at Whittier Primary and Wilson Vance Elementary Schools in Findlay. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

He enjoyed fishing, Michigan Football, Cleveland sports teams, spending time with his family and loved taking drives with his dog Winger, exploring the town they both called home.

Visitation for friends and family will be from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue. His funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the funeral home, officiated by Chaplain Kathy Archer. Burial will be private at Maple Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hancock County Parkinson's Network, at hcparkinsonsnetwork.org.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Bridge Hospice staff for their compassionate care and support during Mark's final days.
