Mark Douglas Bibler

Mark Douglas Bibler, 70, of Findlay, passed away Thursday evening March 28, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Center in Findlay. He was born in Findlay January 20, 1955, to the late Glenn R. and Elizabeth (Bushong) Bibler.

Mark is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jolene F. (Ream) Bibler; his two children, son, Nicholas Glenn Bibler and wife, Katie (Burkhalter) Bibler of Findlay; daughter, Bailey Paige (Bibler) Rickenbacher and husband Bruce Rickenbacher II of Fostoria; two grandchildren, Austin K. Carnicom and Elizabeth Darlene Rickenbacher; as well as his brother, Ted L. (Pam) Bibler of Arcadia; and sister, Barbara J. (Hempelman) Fitzgerald and husband, Murray Fitzgerald of St. Mary's, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Joe and Tim Bibler.

Mark was a resident of his hometown of Findlay for the majority of his life. He attended Findlay High School class of 1973. After high school, Mark began his lifelong career as a flooring installer at Jackson's Furniture and then Bennett's Furniture of McComb. Mark moved from Findlay with a group of close friends and the love of his life, Jolene F. Ream, to Denver, Colorado. Returning in 1982 to marry Jolene on February 14, 1982, and begin a family.

Mark had always had a love for music, and he played bass guitar in different bands throughout his high school career. Then, he rekindled his passion throughout his 50s and early 60s. Mark also enjoyed his time coaching soccer in the Van Buren and Findlay recreational leagues. Positively impacting the lives of many youth athletes over a period of 14 years. He was an animal champion and a family man, always putting the welfare of those he cared deeply about before himself. He was an amazing husband, father, good friend, and associate. Mark will be deeply missed.

Celebration of Life visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2025, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. Private burial will be at Bishop Cemetery at a later date.
