Marjorie Perkins Obituary
Marjorie Elaine (Basinger) Perkins, 88, of Findlay, went to her eternal rest Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at Brookdale Findlay.
She was born Nov. 10, 1934, in Bluffton, to Wilmer and Phebe (DeCamp) Basinger. Marjorie married Thomas T. Perkins on Sept. 5, 1959, and he preceded her in death in 2016.
Marjorie graduated from Cory-Rawson High School. She did secretarial work for Triplett Electrical Instrument Company out of Bluffton and retired. She was a member of First Missionary Church in Bluffton, Van Buren Methodist Church, Lions Club, and member of E.L.P.A.
Margorie is survived by her sister, Joyce Smith of Johnstown; and 14 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Margorie was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Basinger; sister, Joanne Butler; and grandparents, William and Laura (Clevenger) DeCamp and David and Margaret (Flaith) Basinger.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Marjorie's funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Kelly Sterling officiating. Interment will follow at Bechtel Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Marjorie's name may be made to Van Buren United Methodist Church, 201 S. Main St., Van Buren, Ohio, 45889, or Brookdale Findlay, 725 Fox Run Rd., Findlay, Ohio, 45840.
