Marji Tong Obituary
Marji Carolyn Tong, mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the age of 72.
She was born February 22, 1953, in Fulton, New York, to Claude Gardner Jr. and Wava (Pitts) Gardner. She married Robert A. Kell, June 23, 1972. They divorced in 1979. She married David A. Tong, June 21, 1983. Both are deceased.
She worked as a phlebotomist for many years for Blanchard Valley Hospital, and in recent years she enjoyed working at Findlay-Hancock County Public Library.
Marji is survived by her children, Eric R. (Naomi) Kell, Adam D. (Alyssa Brandeberry) Tong, and Amie Tong; her grandchildren, Landyn Tong, Abraham, Ezekiel, Esther and Eve Kell. She is also survived by her brothers, Michael (Joyce) Gardner of Lock Berlin, New York; and stepbrother, William Jr. "Pete."
Friends and family may visit from 10-11 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2025, at Cedar Creek Church, 2111 Stonehedge Dr., Findlay. A celebration of Marji's life will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at 2 p.m. at Zion Bloom Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Marji requested donations to Cedar Creek Church.
HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) is honored to serve Marji's family.
