Marcella Gran Obituary

Marcella E. "Dolly" Gran

Marcella E. "Dolly" Gran, 75, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, at her home in Findlay.

She was born Dec. 10, 1947, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Omer and Marcella (Call) Thomas. Marcella married Thomas Gran in 1967 and he survives.

She is also survived by two children, Angela (Gran) Schimmel and Aaron Gran, both of Findlay; sister, Susan Kent, and brother, John Thomas of West Palm Beach; two nieces; and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marguerite; and brother, Joe.

Marcella graduated from Southport High School in Indianapolis and attended Indiana Central College, earning a Registered Nursing degree. She was an artisan with many interests including stain glass, sewing, and cooking. Marcella loved her pets, especially Irish Wolfhounds.

Memorial contributions in Marcella's name can be made to Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County, 4550 Fostoria Ave., Findlay, Ohio, 45840.
