Lynnette Parker Obituary

Lynnette Joyce Parker

Lynnette Joyce Parker, 74, of Findlay, passed away at her residence Friday, December 26, 2025. She was born February 11, 1951, in Findlay, to the late Doyle and Thelma (Kester) Shank. July 28, 1993, she married the love of her life, Robert Parker, who preceded her in death on January 10, 2025.

Survivors include her sons, Brian Klingler of Forest and Jonathan Klingler of Findlay; her daughters, Lisa (Jeff) Maag of Carey and Amy (Tom) Baker of Findlay; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two grandchildren, Zachary and Gregory Lugibihl; a brother, Doyle A Shank; and a sister, Sharon Thompson.

Lynnette was a school bus driver for Findlay City School System and Blanchard Valley Center for a combined total of 29 years. She worked at Blanchard Valley Center in the day hab, known as Kandu Studio. She had a heart for the clients, and they loved her dearly. She retired in 2024 to care for her husband and was grateful for the time she spent with him. She loved to spend time at Indian Lake at her cottage, where she enjoyed boating, golf cart rides, and bonfires with her family and dog. Lynnette also liked helping people and enjoyed going to thrift shops and garage sales, as well as crocheting. Lynnette enjoyed working in her rock gardens and flower beds and had a special place in her heart for White Irises. She enjoyed painting ceramics and painting parties with her daughters. From the time she was old enough to stand on stage, she began her love of singing. She was very proud of her mom and dad, who sang gospel music, and of her dad, who played the harmonica. Every year, they would sing in the gospel pavilion at the fair. It truly was a family affair. She was known for a smile that lit up every room and the bluest of eyes.

Visitation for Lynnette will be from 2-7 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the funeral home, with Pastor Glen Hammons officiating. Burial will follow at Tawa Cemetery.

Memorial contribu-tions may be directed to Bridge Home, Health, and Hospice.

We were neighbors of Lynnettes. I remember the first time I met her, she was so beautiful with the biggest warmest smile. I used to baby sit her children. She had such a bright personality, and warm heart. She'll be missed.

Lynette had a smile that was infectious. She was so sweet. We attended church together for several years where my father Pastor Howard Spriggs was her pastor. We sang in the choir together and enjoyed many fun moments. We moved to TN 12 years ago but kept in touch via Facebook. Our sympathies and prayers to the family. Reflect on all of those memories that you cherish and let them bring you peace and comfort. Our love to all of you

Lynette was a dear church teenage and young adult friend. When I moved away we lost touch except thru Facebook. I treasure my memories of her. Wish I had kept in touch better. Will miss you Lynette
