Louella (Mulholland) Dunson

Louella (Mulholland) Dunson, 78, of Kenton, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Hardin Hills Health Center, Kenton.

She was born Oct. 23, 1944, in Alger, to Richard and Mary (Legge) Mulholland. She married Ralph Dunson on Aug. 3, 1963, and he preceded her in death Feb. 24, 2022.

Louella is survived by two grandchildren, Michael (Allison) Dunson and Megan Dunson; two great-grandchildren, Emily Dunson and Hayden Best, and one on the way; five sisters, Susie (Willis) Moe, Barbara (Dave) Maley, Maxine (Brian) Hensley, Betty (Randy) Reed, and Vickie (Bill) Roszman; two brothers, Bill (Carol) Mulholland and Tom (Delores) Mulholland; sister-in-law, Kathy Mulholland; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Kenny and David Dunson; and three brothers, Jerry, Lester, and Larry Mulholland.

Louella retired from Whirlpool, Findlay. She attended Grant Methodist Church and was a member of Kenton Moose and Eagles.

In her younger years, Louella loved to go square dancing with her husband. She also enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and cooking.

Louella's funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2023, at Price-McElroy Funeral Home, Kenton, with Pastor Tom Mulholland officiating. Burial will follow at Dunkirk Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the funeral home.

Memorial donations in Louella's honor may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
