Lou Ann (Hughes) Deitsch

Lou Ann (Hughes) Deitsch, 58, passed away Friday, Oct. 20, 2023, at her residence.

Lou Ann was born May 22, 1965, in Findlay, to Charles and Gloria (Ferrel) Hughes. She married Scott Deitsch on Nov. 27, 1999, and he survives.

Lou Ann graduated from Cory-Rawson High School. She worked as a home health aide for Ada Visiting Nurses and was a homemaker. Lou Ann enjoyed decorating inside and outside of her house with flowers, statues, and other yard decorations. She was very proud of her roots of Kentucky, "the Bluegrass State." Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Lou Ann's survivors include her husband, Scott Deitsch of Bluffton; four children, Dustan Thompson of Bluffton, Brandon Thompson of Findlay, Rhoda Thompson of Findlay, and William Deitsch of Bluffton; four grandchildren, Gage, Wyatt, Dakota, and Aleah; and four siblings, Charles (Jana) Hughes Jr. of Bluffton, Emma Hofferbert of Elida, Juanita Meade of Lexington, Kentucky, and Chad Hughes of Findlay.

Lou Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, John Hughes.

Lou Ann's celebration of life will be 1-3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ada Visiting Nurse or charity of the donor's choice.
