Loretta Collins Obituary

Loretta L. Collins

Loretta L. Collins, 94, of Findlay, passed away at Bridge Hospice Care Center Tuesday, November 3, 2025. She was born November 22, 1930, in Toledo, to the late Charles and Louise (Weaver) Ferguson. While in the Army, she met and married James R. Collins, December 1, 1951, who preceded her in death December 4, 2016.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandra August of Findlay and Laura L. Holycross of Findlay; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, George Ferguson of Wayne.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; and brothers, Charles Jr., Denny, and Dick Ferguson; and sisters, Dorothy and Mary Jane.

Loretta was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War, was employed at Budd Company for 10 years in North Baltimore, an Eastern Star, attended Wayne United Methodist Church, and Cross Way Ministries in Findlay. She loved her family, collected Fenton Glass, enjoyed playing cards and watching Animal Planet.

There will be no services at this time.

Memorial contribu-tions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

To our dear sister Sandy & family, we are sorry for your loss. Loretta (grandma) as we all called her at Cross Way Ministry's, loved her very much and she will be greatly missed. We pray for God's peace and comfort to be upon you through this time. I pray that God will bring to you all that you have need of during this time. We pray for each and every one of you.
