Lora Friedrich Obituary
Lora Friedrich, 76, of Findlay, died Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Hospice of Central Ohio, Columbus.
She was born April 29, 1947, in Findlay, the daughter of William and Ollie (Courtney) Wiley. She married Paul Patton on Oct. 9, 1965, and they divorced. She then married Clayton Friedrich, who also preceded her in death, and was engaged to William Neifer, who also preceded her in death.
Lora's survivors include her daughter, Kim (Kevin Karrick) Treft; daughter-in-law, Angie (Tim Hamlin) Patton; stepdaughter, Bobbi (Keith) Miller, and Terrie Shrider; stepson, Grant (Beth) Friedrich; three grandchildren, Meisha Miller, Summer Patton, and Jarred (Alexa) Treft; numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jean Hannah and Jane (Chester) Borders.
Lora was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Paul Patton; grandson, Jacob Trey Patton; brothers, William Wiley and Marion Wiley; and sisters, Barbara Leeper, Betty, and Rosemary Wiley.
Lora was the canteen manager at Findlay Amvets for 25 years. She loved to spend time with her kids and grandkids. She was a member of Findlay Amvets, American Legion, V.F.W., and Moose.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Lora's memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Mike VanDenEynde officiating. A luncheon in Lora's honor will follow at Findlay VFW Post #5645, 315 Walnut Street.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in memory of Paul Patton Jr. to Ronald McDonald House, 711 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio, 43205.
