Lisa Kay Hutton

Lisa Kay Hutton, 65, of Fostoria, passed away at Bridge Hospice Care Center Sunday, December 7, 2025. She was born September 25, 1960, in Findlay, the daughter of Joe and Christine (Carroll) Diebley. She was married to Rick Hutton, and later they divorced.

Survivors include her mother, Christine Diebley of Fostoria; daughters, Kelly Hutton of Cleveland and Lauren Hutton of Fostoria; and a granddaughter, Peyton Hutton of Fostoria.

Preceding her in death were her father, Joe Diebley and brothers, Joe Ellis and Gregory Allen Diebley.

Lisa was a graduate of Arcadia Local School. She then attended Miami Valley School of Nursing, Marion Technical School of Nursing, and Findlay College of Education. Lisa continued her education by earning her master's in education from Heidelberg College and attending the University of Findlay for counseling. Lisa was a member of Sigma Delta/Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority.

Lisa taught English at both Plymouth and Arcadia High Schools and counseled at Riverdale Elementary and Upper Sandusky High School.

Lisa was very involved in her community. She was a member of both Plymouth and Washington Township's Fire Departments, as well as the Women's Moose No. 253. Lisa was also a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. She practiced her Faith as an active member of West Independence Church.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, and an additional visitation one hour prior to service at the church Friday. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2025, at West Independence Church, 22876 US-224, Fostoria, with Pastor Ben Wallick officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Cancer Patient Service, Hancock Historical Museum or the church.
