Linda Rike Obituary
Linda L. Rike, 69, died peacefully Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
Linda was born Dec. 30, 1954, the daughter of Robert and Alice (Jackson) Miller. Linda married Gregory Rike in 1977 and they two divorced in 2007.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Katherine Kin (Josh Kin) of Findlay; and three grandchildren, Hannah, Emily, and Katelyn Kin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, JoAnne Luce and Patty Miller, who died at birth.
Linda was a 1973 graduate of Paulding High School and attended Bowling Green State University, where she earned an associates degree in business. Over the years, Linda was employed at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Aon, Brinkman's Country Corner, The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, and Lincoln Financial, but she was most proud of being the owner and operator of The Box Shoppe (Boxes-n-Such) in Findlay.
Linda touched the lives of those around her with her strength, resilience, and giving spirit. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed her pets and animals of all kinds, and loved to shop. Her three granddaughters were a source of great happiness and joy to her.
Linda's family will be having a private ceremony to honor her life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County, 4550 Fostoria Ave., Findlay, Ohio, 45840, in Linda's memory.
COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, was entrusted with Linda's care.
May Linda always be remembered for the love and light she brought into the lives of others.

So sad to hear of Linda's passing. Linda was my first boss at the Box Shoppe, and I watched Katie when she was little during the summers. Linda was a great person to know and work for. She was always kind and energetic. I have fond memories of wrapping endless Christmas presents and shipping packages during the holidays. My sympathies go out to her family during this difficult time.

Very sorry to read of Linda´s passing. We´ve known each other since we were kids growing up in Paulding. Although our paths did not cross often I always enjoyed spending time with her when they did. Condolences and prayers for her family.

Linda and I have been a friends since we were in diapers. We didn´t see each other as much as we aged. But when we did, it was a friendship that picked right up where it left off. With our shared childhood we always "got " each other´s humor. Always generous, thoughtful and fun. Goodbye my dear friend.
