Linda Husek

Linda Husek, 78, of Cygnet, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania.

Linda was born Dec. 29, 1943, in Findlay, to the late Guy and Florence (Swain) Lindquist. She married Ralph Husek on Jan. 1, 1962, in Millbury, and he preceded her in death March 24, 2013.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Dawn "Renee" (Jim) Williams of Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Robyn (Craig) Mercer of Cygnet; son, Mark (Tammy) Husek of North Baltimore; grandchildren, Courtney, Brett (Mary), Jacob (Sarah), Michael (Anna), Matthew (Tessa), and McKenzie; four great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Arleen) Linquist; good friend and brother-in-law, Jim Pelton; and sisters-in-law, Mary Walker and Kathy Husek.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Lackey.

Linda and Ralph loved flea markets, hunting for things to add to her numerous collections. She loved going to craft shows and searching for anything with a moose on it. She loved flying, taking her first flight at the age of 75. She loved her grandchildren and supporting them through all their endeavors and babysat most of them along with other children in her home.

Services will be private for the Husek Family.
