Leonard L. Miller

Leonard Lee Miller, 83, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Promedica Ebeid Hospice Center, Sylvania. He was born Feb. 22, 1939, in Evansport, Ohio, to the late Melvin and Bessie (Pursel) Miller. On Dec. 21, 1958, he married Joan (Fitzenrider) Miller and she survives in Findlay.

He is also survived by his three children, Diane Miller of Findlay, Steve Miller of Gahanna, Ohio, and Susan Miller of Clearwater, Florida; four grandchildren, Jeremy (Elizabeth) Gary, Jessica (Donny) Patrick, Joshua Miller, and Reilly Miller; and four great-grandchildren, Jordan Gary, Kellen Gary, Layla Patrick, and Cameron Patrick.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leon Miller; and sister-in-law, Patricia.

He retired from Marathon Oil Company in 1992, where he worked as a systems analyst.

He graduated from International Business college in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and later from Findlay College.

Leonard was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Findlay.

He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and earlier in life, basketball and softball.

He was proud and loved his family and grandchildren and supported them in their many endeavors.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, 205 W. Sandusky St., Findlay. Leonard's funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Amy Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
