Lawrence Gifford Obituary
Lawrence D. Gifford Jr., 82, of Findlay, died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022, at Birchaven Village. He was born Oct. 10, 1939, in Walton, New York, to Lawrence and Waneta (Adams) Gifford.
Lawrence graduated from Walton Central High school in 1957 and Hiram College in 1962. He was an engineer at GTE for over 20 years. Lawrence was a member of Assabet Valley Mastersingers for 10 years. He was an avid photographer who won multiple amateur photography contests. Lawrence was also a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
Lawrence is survived by his son, Daniel Gifford of Holden, Massachusetts; daughter, Stephanie Gifford of Hopkinton, Massachusetts; brothers, Jon Gifford of Lexington Park, Maryland, and Richard Gifford of Delhi, New York; sister, Debbie Bartlett of Walton, New York; grandchildren, Alexandra Wright, Michael Gifford, and Brian Gifford; and great-grandchildren, Michael Gifford, Matthew Gifford, and Grayson Gifford. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Patricia Hodges and Nancie Bennett.
