Laurie Steinmeyer Obituary
Laurie Kay (Rimer) Steinmeyer passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at Blanchard Valley Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
Laurie was born May 20, 1961, and raised in Findlay, where she spent most of her life. Anyone who knew Laurie knew that her favorite thing in life, besides her family, was "jamming" out to her favorite music on her beloved stereo. Laurie was also a talented poet and wrote hundreds of poems, some of which were published.
Laurie is survived by her children, Sarah Steinmeyer, Robert Steinmeyer, Rachael White, and Brian Steinmeyer; siblings, Kent Rimer, Penny Castle, Chris Rimer, and Mike Rimer; 20 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gold and Betty Rimer; and daughter, Hillary Steinmeyer.
Visitation for friends and family will be 12 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, until the time of Laurie's funeral at 1 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500. Pastor Jim Klausing will preside. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Laurie's name can be made to City Mission of Findlay, 510 West Main Cross, Findlay, Ohio, 45840.
