Kenyon Newcomer Obituary
Kenyon Paul "Kenny" Newcomer, 17, of rural Arlington, passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023.
He was born Nov. 21, 2005, in Findlay, to Kevin and Amber (Nash) Newcomer.
He is survived by his parents; sister, Shelby Newcomer; maternal grandmother, Lianne Powers; paternal grandparents, Kim (Dave) Newcomer; great-grandparents, Vickie Nash and Mary Stoffer; aunts and uncles, Denna Kincade, Megan (Ryan) Wodarski, Jessica (Jasen) Cairns, and Kara (Mike) Stooops; and numerous additional family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne Nash, Paul (Virginia) Newcomer, Charles Nash, Edwin Powers, and Donna Jean (Kenneth) Flugga.
Kenny was preparing for his senior year of high school at Riverdale. He had a vibrant personality and never knew a stranger. He was the most kindhearted person you would ever meet. He loved hunting, fishing, trapping, and was a bit of a wild child. He enjoyed football and baseball and was a huge Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan. In his future plans, he was hoping to join Vaughn Industries to work alongside his friends. Kenny was currently working at Stauffer Farms and loved his job.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Kenny's funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Zion Bloom Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Kenny to N.W.T.F.

I met this family online many years ago and 5 years ago they made the trip to Western NY to meet me in person and it was very special to meet all of them. I am saddened to know that this young man has left us so soon. My thoughts and prayers go out to Kevin, Amber and Shelby and to the entire rest of Kenyon's family members. I treasure meeting you and will never forget you my friend.

Kevin, Amber and Shelby, We are heartbroken at the lose of Kenyon. He and Shelby hold a special place in our hearts. My little toe-headed rough neck boy who always had a hug for me.
