Kenneth Joseph "Ken" "Kenny" Goshe

Kenneth Joseph "Ken" "Kenny" Goshe, 79, of Fostoria, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025.

He was born April 20, 1946, to the late Clarence Andrew and Delphine Mary (Huss) Goshe. He married Brenda Brown, June 22, 1973, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, and she survives in Fostoria.

Also surviving are children, Andrew Joseph (Mary) Goshe, Findlay, Catherine Rose (Aaron P. Avila) Goshe, Arlington, Virginia, Matthew (Lisa) Goshe, Worthington and Dominic (Alisha) Goshe, Fostoria; grandchildren, Madeleine, Juliana, Nicholas, Megan, Emily and Syble Goshe; brother, Thomas (late Anna) Goshe, Alvada; and sister, Jeanette (Francis) Nieset, Fostoria.

Ken retired in 2001 after 35 years with the Fostoria School System, serving as a teacher, principal and assistant superintendent of Fostoria Community Schools. He enjoyed working at Tiffin Hardware for over 10 years following his retirement from the school system. He was a lifelong member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, sponsoring vocations to the Priesthood and met and supported many of the seminarians in the Diocese of Toledo.

Ken was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel. He was a graduate of Bowling Green State University. He took great pride in his family and was an excellent steward, ensuring they had everything they needed and most of what they wanted. He enjoyed the time he spent in his vegetable and flower gardens.

Visitation is 2-5 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2025, at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin Street, Fostoria, OH 44830 and from 10-11 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2025, at All Saints Parish in New Riegel, where his funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Timothy Kummerer presiding. Burial will follow at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. A funeral luncheon will then take place at New Riegel American Legion.
