Kaylene Redman Obituary

Kaylene Ann "Kay" Redman

Kaylene Ann "Kay" (Autullo) Redman, 70, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay after a long battle with cancer. Kay was born September 21, 1954, to Anthony and Beverly (Berry) Autullo in Findlay.

Kay married Bradley Redman May 21, 1976, and he survives in Findlay, along with their daughter, Brittany (Steve) Neuhofs, and grandson, Barrett Anthony Neuhofs. She is also survived by two sister, Barb Simpson and Lu (Jim) Draper; her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; mother-in-law, Bonnie Redman; and sister-in-law, Rebecca Shrode.

In addition to her parents, Tony and Bev Autullo, Kay was preceded in death by brother, Jim Autullo; brother-in-law, Jim Simpson; and father-in-law, Robert Redman.

A 1972 graduate of Findlay High School, Kay retired from Fifth Third Bank (formerly First National Bank) and Premier Bank (formerly First Federal Bank) after 48 successful years of working in the banking industry in a variety of positions. Kay was adored by many of her regular customers and was well-respected in the industry. She won many awards during her tenure in banking, including the prestigious Hidden Gem Award.

Kay was no stranger to volunteering in the community – whether it was sitting on a non-profit board or helping with fundraisers. She served with Findlay Service League, Blanchard Valley Hospital Auxiliary, Silver Blades Skating Club, was a Campfire Leader and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church Money Counting Ministry. She could regularly be found behind the scenes, cashiering for most major events and fundraisers in Findlay, supporting organizations like The Arts Partnership, Cancer Patient Services, Hancock Historical Museum, and many others. She volunteered for decades with The Arts Partnership (MCPA) and was named Volunteer of the Year.

After retirement, Kay and Brad purchased a home at Lake Erie, where she loved spending time with friends and family. Being on "the beach" was truly her happy place. In addition to traveling with friends, Kay enjoyed attending and working auctions where she collected "treasures" for her antiques booth. Kay was a big supporter of her great-nieces and great-nephews, following their many sporting activities and theatrical performances, but her biggest joy in life was her grandson, Barrett.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Blanchard Valley Hospital and Armes Family Cancer Care Center for the care they provided.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 617 W. Main Cross St., Findlay, OH 45840. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Cancer Patient Services or Armes Cancer Center.
