Karl is also survived by a son, Jeremy J (Cassidy) Brandeberry of Nevada, Ohio; two daughters, Sandra Lee (Jamie) Schreiner of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and DyAnna Sue (David) Scott of Columbus, Ohio; five beautiful granddaughters, Chelsea, Ashley, Brookelynn, Lauren, and Lilly; grandson, Joseph; and several brothers and sisters, Paul, Glen, Lance, and Be Brandeberry, Doreen Williamson, Leanne Myers, Barb Hoff, Vickie Clay, and Blondina Bucher. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ray Allen, Albert, and Harvie Brandeberry; and sister, Laquita Brandeberry.

After leaving the military, Karl worked at Whirlpool Corporation for 23 years and then later became self-employed. From 1992-1995, Karl attended World Harvest Bible College. During his time in college, Karl began a food ministry, "Victory Storehouse," helping fellow students and others who were in need. Karl enjoyed attending Only Believe Ministries where he was active helping run camera during church and overseas mission services. Karl was ordained May 25, 2012. His ministry primarily was to help others in their need, encouraging, praying and sharing the love of Jesus.

I went to school in Vanlue with Karl and family. I often wondered where my classmates were and what they made of themselves. Such a blessing to see that he was ordained into the ministry at age 62! We often wonder where God is leading us. What a blessing to know that we will be reunited in that reunion on the other side!!

My dear father in law,
I'm soo sorry to see what you had to go through this past year, but you did so with so much endurance and faith. To have seen you still ministering even while in the hospital was soo uplifting and humbling. The way that you lit up the last day that you spoke (even if it was with one word) when you heard that you were having a new grandchild in 8 months. You were a light that will never be forgotten and your legacy will live on. We will miss you dearly. This picture is one of my favorites and I can see you doing this in heaven. You have ran your race and now we continue to run ours as you root us all on in heaven. It's not goodbye, but see you later.

Karl, you will be sadly missed. Thank you for your faithfulness to our Savior and being a caring, loving person to all around you, especially your wife and family. What will we do without your sense of humor and little practical jokes. I just hope the Angel's are prepared for you. Lol Thanks again for all you have done for so many including me. Not bye, but until we meet again!
