Karen Neds Obituary

Karen M. Neds

Karen M. Neds, 65 of Henryville, IN and formerly of Findlay passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025, at her residence. Karen was born in Detroit (Mt. Clemens), MI on November 24, 1959, to the late Chester and Eleanor (Contrucci) Stachura. On October 19, 1991, Karen married Ron Neds and he survives along with a daughter, Summer Grace Neds of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by two sisters; Lynne (Robert-deceased) Hill of Vancouver, WA and Donna (Charlie) Sharkey of Detroit, MI. Karen was a 28-year cancer survivor, never complaining once. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Karen enjoyed spending time with her childhood best friends from Michigan and her close friends in Findlay. She enjoyed cooking and decorating her home for the holidays, planting flowers in the spring and sitting with Summer, Ron, Bear and Stella in front of the wood burning fireplace in the winter. Karen's biggest joy was spending time with her family and pouring every ounce of love into her daughter, Summer Grace. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 PM at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. A memorial service will begin at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at College First Church of God, 1100 N. Main St, Findlay, OH with pastor David Welker officiating. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Karen to College First Church of God or The American Cancer Society. Online condolences can be expressed to the family by visiting coldrencrates.com.
