Judith Coppes Obituary
Judith Coppes, 78, of Findlay, died at 8:07 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. She was born October 14, 1947, in Findlay, to the late Donald J. and Donna (Deidrick) Lyon. She married Roger Coppes, January 25, 1986, and he survives.
Judy is also survived by her sons, Shawn Coppes of Findlay, Jeffrey (Kathy) Coppes of Brighton, Michigan, and Bradley (Terri) Coppes of Columbia, Tennessee; brother, Robert Lyon of Fairborn; stepbrother, Ken (Margie) Wien of Findlay; stepsister, Cheryl (Jeff) Hobbs of Deshler; grandchildren, Stephanie (Kurt) Charleville, Josh (Stephanie) Coppes, Heather Coppes, Corey (Devan) Coppes, Jonathon (Jessica) Coppes, and Bridget (Chance) Woodward; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Lyon.
Judy was a 1966 graduate of Findlay High School and retired from The Courier. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m.,Friday, November 21, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Burial will be at Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made to American Parkinson's Disease Association.
