Judith M. Cook

Judith M. Cook, 79, of Findlay passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, at her home.

She was born May 8th, 1946, in Toledo, OH to William A. and Beatrice (Walker) Dreyer, who preceded her in death.

Judy married her high school quarterback sweetheart Robert M. Cook on June 4th, 1966. He survives at home. She is also survived by two children, Robert (Kathryn) Cook and Elizabeth (Douglas) Rode, both of Findlay. Judy enjoyed five grandchildren, Owen (Jessica) Rode, Aiden Rode, Greyson Rode, Emma Cook, and William Cook. Her siblings included her brother William (Beth) Dreyer and sister Nancy VanGunten, both survive her and live in Findlay.

Judy was a 1964 graduate of Findlay High School where she was honored her senior year as Homecoming Queen!

Judy retired from the University of Findlay in 2012 where she spent decades helping students pursue their dreams of higher education. UF provided her with a lifetime of friends and cherished memories.

Judy & Bob spent several fun-filled years following their children and then grandchildren's athletic and scholastic activities. Watching her grandkids grow and thrive was her ultimate joy.

Kirkpatrick Behnke Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life for family and friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at the home of Bob and Kate Cook, 411 Church Hill Drive, Findlay, Ohio 45840.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Judith's name may be offered to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

Judy and I have been friends since fifth grade. She always greeted people with a smile. She always knew the latest word of what was going on in Findlay. Just a fun person. Judy was always so proud of her family. Bob and family sorry for your loss.
