Judith E. "Judy" Bell

Judith E. Bell, 81, of Findlay, passed away at 2:57 a.m. Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. She was born to the late Edwin E. and C. June (Breitigam) Wise May 7, 1943, in Findlay. Judy married Alvin R. Bell June 25, 1988, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Findlay, where she was a member for most of her life. Al preceded Judy in death May 25, 2022.

She is survived by her children, Anthony (Pamela) Musone of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Timothy (Karen) Musone of Findlay, David (Erica) Bell of Berkeley, California; her brothers, Steven Wise and David (Teresa) Wise; and a sister, LuAnn (John) Kaylor; four grandchildren, Madison Bell, Ayleah, James and Jacob Musone; and several nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Judy was preceded in death by a son, Richard Bell.

Judy was a 1961 graduate of Findlay High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Wittenberg University and master's degree from Bowling Green State University. Judy spent her 30-year career teaching in the Findlay City School system, all at Lincoln Elementary School, retiring in 2003.

Judy was a member of Altrusa of Findlay, where she held many offices and recently received an Emeritus Award.

Following retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at Mazza Museum and Hancock Historical Museum.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, also at the funeral home. It was Judy's wishes to be cremated and Maple Grove Cemetery will be her final resting place.
