I love this man so much! I reported to him and John Early in Marathons corporate office.
Two of the best people I´ve met in my life.

I´m Kevin Bright, Jon´s cousin, and we shared several meals together in restaurants. In addition to his wonderful sense of humor and positive attitude, Jon had a wonderful manner when he spoke to you, similar to his father Russ. I will never forget how he would always ask the server in a restaurant what they would have if they were ordering. Although separated by distance, my heart is heavy today knowing Jon is no longer with us, but full knowing he is in a better place.

I had the privilege of working with Jon at Marathon. I recall once that he invited me to an important meeting that to my surprise when I arrived was really a tea party with scones and all the assortment of jams, lemon curd, etc., that he had to share from his latest travels. All in attendance were amazed by his generosity and silliness. It was a reprieve from our usual work debates. I won't soon forget him.

My deepest sympathies to Jon's family.

I met "Big Jon" 38 years ago. I soon found out why he was called "Big Jon" it was not just because he was 6´6" but he had a huge personality. When you were in his presence you felt his greatness. He had the ability to make everyone around him happy.
We were lucky to travel to Chicago with Jon & Mo, we traveled there via train. We saw The Rolling Stones together we ate out together.
The last time we were with Jon & Mo was at the BG´s girl´s volleyball floor dedication.
What a privilege to have known such a wonderful human being.
You will be remembered and I am sure all the memories people have of you will surely put a smile on their faces and will know that we are all better off having known you.
God Bless you "Big Jon"

Jon had a remarkable way of viewing the world. I never knew what he was going to say about even the most trivial matter. I will also remember the HOURS he spent under glaring lights in the office next door to mine filming a 20 second spot for Marathon's annual shareholders' meeting.

Always liked going out to dinner and watching how nervous the waitress got when Jon asked her to order for him. Enjoyed discussions on family since my last name is Neumeister and my Mom´s sister married a Stansbery. Prayer and best wishes in this time of loss.
