John Wilcox Obituary

John H. Wilcox

John Harold Wilcox, 66, of Findlay, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

He was born Jan. 19, 1957, in Findlay, to Melford and Walta Lou (Dillon) Wilcox. John married Mary Jo Wilcox in 1981 and they later divorced.

John was a Findlay High School graduate. Upon graduating, he spent his entire career working at Kroger, formerly known as Foodtown. He was a member of Moose Lodge and member of UFCW Local 75. John is survived by his son, Jeff Wilcox (Carissa Coley) of Findlay; daughter, Heather (Phil) Mosier of Copley; five grandchildren, Olivia Churchill, Braelyn Wilcox, Hudson Wilcox, Hanna Mosier, and Emily Mosier; and five brothers, Jim (Elizabeth) Wilcox, Dave (Pam) Wilcox, Doug (Cathy) Wilcox, Brad Wilcox, and Brian Wilcox.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Tom Wilcox.

There will be a private service for John on Friday, July 21, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500, with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating.
