John DePuy

John Richard DePuy, 81, of Findlay, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. John was born December 9, 1943, in Findlay to the late Serge and Florence (Wilson) DePuy. On. September 8, 1984, he married Nancy Long, and she survives in Findlay. John is survived by a daughter, Angie (Dennis) Mullahy of Keller, Texas, stepdaughters, Amy (Ron) Wilson and Eileen (Kurt) Witter, both of Findlay; brothers, Thomas (Chris) DePuy of Findlay, Jack DePuy of Lancaster, Ohio, and Randy (Pat) DePuy of Columbus; and sister, Linda Foltz of Findlay.

Preceding John in death are his parents; son, Craig DePuy; brother, William DePuy; and granddaughter, Jennifer Mullahy.

John was blessed with eight grandchildren, Taylor (Javier) Mullahy, Riley Mullahy, Hannah Mullahy, Brian (Jessica) Wilson, Chad (Bri) Wilson, Shelby (Michael) Wilson, Emily (Cody) Witter, and Austin (Chelsey) Witter. John's other joy and love was his great-grandchildren, Gavin, Emma, Kolten, Karter, Krew, Raelynn, Caselynn, Corbin and Hudson.

John was known far and wide as PEPSI MAN, having delivered Pepsi to many stores, community events, fairs, and church socials. John passed the love of fishing to his grandchildren, who have become die-hard fishermen. He enjoyed a good round of golf, raising a vegetable garden and baking. John was also a great candy maker who was always willing to help others learn the art.

Visitation for John will be from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, with Pastor Dan Metzger officiating. Burial will follow at Benton Ridge Cemetery.

The family asks that memorial be directed to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
