John L. Bryant

John L. Bryant, 64, of Findlay, passed away at 11:54 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, at his residence.

John was born Sept. 9, 1959, in Findlay, to Thomas F. and Ruth M. (Smith) Bryant. He married Catherine M. Curth on Oct. 16, 1976, and they enjoyed 47 years of marriage. She survives in Findlay.

John is also survived by two sons, John R. Bryant of Harrison and David T. Bryant of Findlay; daughter, Jennifer M. Kayser of Findlay; stepsister, Kelly (Guy) Pelton of Findlay; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas E. Bryant; and stepmother, Sara Bryant.

John enjoyed watching Cleveland Browns, Ohio State football, and Cleveland Indians. He was employed at the Budd Company in North Baltimore for 40 years before retiring in 2019.

John's celebration of life for family and friends will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio, 45840.

Deepest sympathies I knew the Dude in the 80s through the Budd. He was one of the most interesting people I have. We had lots of thought provoking conversations. May he rest in peace.
