John Beddows Obituary
John "Allan" Beddows, 85, of Findlay, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025, at Birchaven Village in Findlay.
He was born November 26, 1940, in Birmingham, England. He married Mary Jo Elchert, who survives in Findlay. Also surviving are children, Louise Beddows and Stewart Beddows, England; stepsons, James (Jeanine) Baker, Findlay, Matthew (Penny) Baker, Akron and Stephan Baker, Findlay; grandchildren, Cara Baker, Caylee Baker, Alysse Baker and Kate Baker; siblings, James (Maureen) Beddows, Roger (Pat) Beddows, David (Jenny) Beddows, Jean Beddows, Graham Beddows, Grace (Ray) Wilkes, Lorna (Stephan) Blackmore all of England.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Gladys (Seaton) Beddows.
Allan retired as a tool and die maker in manufacturing and was a union representative. He was a magistrate to the Queen and enjoyed attending soccer and cricket games. You could find Allan listening to local musical artists, gardening, woodworking and on the water in his canal boat in England.
Visitation is 11 a.m.– 1 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, at MANN-HARE-HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830, where the funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. with Deacon Greg Siebenaller presiding. Burial will follow at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in New Riegel.
Memorial contribu-tions are suggested to Alzheimer's Association.
