Joann E. Stram

Joann E. Stram, 87, of Findlay, passed away at ProMedica Toledo Hospital Sunday, February 23, 2025. She was born in Bowling Green March 23, 1937, to the late Warren and Cora Jeanette (Oberholtzer) Smith. On April 27, 1958, she married Richard E. "Dick" Stram, who preceded her in death May 19, 2011.

She is survived by her children, James D. Stram of Findlay, Amy L. Craven of Arlington, Sally A. (Mike Garlock) Stram of Arlington, Becky S. Stram of Fostoria, and Karen J. (Danny) Wise of Many, Louisiana; 13 grandchildren, Ryan Stram, Bret (Shireen) Stram, Miles Craven, Megan (Sam Que) Craven, Kaitlyn (Joe Avila) Berry, Layne (Patrick) White, Tyler Thompson, Allyson Ballew, Zachary Buescher, Madelyn Buescher, Danielle (Jake) Hutchinson, Kelsey Wise, and Jake (Krista) Garlock; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; a brother, Ralph Smith; and sisters, Janet Mains and Carol Cole.

Joann was formerly employed at Ohio Oil Company before starting her family. In her younger days, she enjoyed golfing, was an avid bridge player, and went on fishing trips to Canada. She even enjoyed playing bridge online up to her last days. She was a fun-loving and awesome mom and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family.

Funeral services will be private.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Parkinson Foundation, or a charity of the donor's choice.
