Jerry L. Gibson Sr.

Jerry Lee Gibson Sr., 52, of Hoytville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, at Mercy Heath - St. Vincent Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 27, 1972, in Bowling Green to Harry I. and Patricia (Couts) Gibson Sr. He married Kim Anderson on Sept. 27, 2002, and she survives him in Hoytville.

Jerry was a loving and caring father and husband. He enjoyed working on his Trans Am and riding his Harley. He loved his two beautiful granddaughters and taking family trips to Oak Openings Preserve Metropark. He would put a big smile on your face just by his goofy comments. Jerry found his greatest joy in spending time with this family, always prioritizing their happiness and well-being above all else.

Jerry was a McComb High School graduate and retired from Precision Aggregate Portage Quarry.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Kim; children, Jerry (Chloe) Gibson of Findlay, Andrew Gibson of McComb, Michael Gibson, Bret (Tristin) Gibson and Paige Gibson, all of Hoytville; granddaughters, Nevaeh Gibson of Findlay and Navy Gibson of McComb. In addition, Jerry is survived by his siblings, Pattie Rayburn of Hoytville, Rick (Robin) Gibson of Hoytville, Margaret (Ron) Morris of Hurtsville, South Carolina and Helen Halstead of North Baltimore.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers, Harry I. Gibson Jr, Don Gibson and William Gibson; sister, Bonnie Jurrus; and brother-in-law, Ronnie Rayburn.

Friends and family may visit from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay, (419-422-1500). Funeral service for Jerry will be at the conclusion of visitation at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Jerry will be laid to rest in Bechtel Cemetery at a later date.
