Jeffery Alan Coan

Jeffery Alan Coan, 54, of Pemberville, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025. He was born October 31, 1970, in Valparaiso, Indiana, to Chester Coan and Nancy (DuBois) Beason. He married Julie Benjamin on March 5, 2005, and she survives.

Jeff worked as a manufacturing engineer for First Solar. He was a member of Port Clinton Yacht Club. His happy place was on the water boating. He enjoyed many vacations to the beach, riding his motorcycle and working on projects in his barn. His greatest joy came from the time he spent with his family.

Along with his wife of 20 years, Julie; Jeff is survived by his mother, Nancy Beason; daughters, Madeline (James) Hall of Marysville and Lola Coan of Pemberville; grandson, Henry; brother, Andrew (Cheri) Coan of Lynchburg, Virginia; and sister, Pamela (Kent) Hoefling of St. Petersburg, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Coan.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Veteran's Memorial Atrium, 520 Conneaut Ave. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. A time of food and fellowship will follow the service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in his memory to Port Clinton Yacht Club- Learn to Sail.
