Jeanne Griffith Obituary
Jeanne Griffith, 79, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Monday, July 31, 2023, at her home in Columbus Grove.
Jeanne was born May 8, 1944, in Lima, to Byron and Lois (Good) Davies, who preceded her in death.
Jeanne married Charles E. Griffith on Nov. 14, 1964, and he survives in Columbus Grove.
She was a member of Vaughnsville United Methodist Church and their Evening Guild. She worked at Vaughnsville Post Office, Ohio Bureau of Employment Services in Lima, and Putnam County Job and Family Services in Ottawa. Jeanne was the founder and CEO of the Griller Girls. She enjoyed being with her friends and family.
Jeanne is also survived by her son, Michael (Stefanie) Griffith of Findlay; sister, Mrs. Judy Herrick of North Canton; and two grandchildren, Grace Madison and Paige Elizabeth, both of Findlay.
Visitation for friends will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, 2023, and 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023, until the time of Jeanne's service at 11 a.m. at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Tom Brown will preside. Burial will follow at Truro Cemetery.
The family requests any memorial donations be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
