Janet Honse Obituary
Janet K. Honse, 75, of Findlay, passed away peacefully at 6:43 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family after battling Alzheimer's.
She was born Aug. 10, 1949, to Leland and ImaJean (Montgomery) Badertscher. She married the love of her life, David L. Honse Sr., on March 2, 1968, and he preceded her in death Jan. 12, 2017.
Janet is survived by two children, Linda (Scott Sr.) Deal of Findlay and David (Andrea) Honse Jr.; sister, Karen (Don) Brown; five grandchildren, Christina (Thomas) Ryan, Scott (Ashley) Deal Jr., Isabella McKaila (Carter) Gilmore, Lane Honse, and Briena Honse; and 11 great-grandchildren, Seth, Thomas Jr., Alex, Hunter, Lexxie, Oaklyn, Eliza, Skyleigh, Colson, Westin, and Rylan.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Roger Badertscher.
Janet dedicated her life to child care. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and going on family vacations.
Janet's funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2024, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Northwest Ohio.

My sincere sympathy to the family. Janet was a kind and gentle person who took great care of my children in the 1980's. They loved the orange circus "peanuts" she sometimes gave them as a treat. Since then I often ran into her at Meijer and we updated each other on the kids (hers and mine) of course. I will keep you all in my prayers.
