Janet Holloway Obituary
Janet Holloway, 78, of Findlay and formerly of Cygnet, died at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, at her residence.
She was born March 14, 1946, in Findlay, to Earl "Deke" and Lois (McGarvey) Vanaman. She married William M. Holloway on Jan. 29, 1971, and he preceded her in death Feb. 26, 2014.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Suzanne (Bill) Bucher of North Baltimore; step-son, William (Mie) Holloway of Texas; step-daughter, Cindy Jo Sigg of Virginia; brother, Ed (Renee) Vanaman of North Baltimore; grandchildren, Jordan, Ben, Greg, Kevin, Lisa, Katie and Julia.
Janet retired after 30 years from Fifth Third Bank, where she was a Loan Officer. She was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Baltimore, North Baltimore American Legion Auxiliary Post 539 and Fraternal Order of Eagle's #2633. Janet enjoyed camping at The Paradise Acres Camp Ground for over 30 years, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, where visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Jeannine Grimm officiating. Burial will be at New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Baltimore.
