Janet Bolander Obituary
Janet Kay Bolander, 78, of Mt. Blanchard, passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, at Birchaven Village. She was born Feb. 19, 1944, in Findlay, to Niles E. and Nelly M. (Downing) Waren. Janet married Paul Glenn Bolander on April 20, 1963, and he preceded her in death in April, 2019.
Janet was a Mt. Cory High School graduate. She was a devoted housewife who enjoyed crafting, gardening, and taking care of her cats. Janet was a woman of faith who loved reading her bible, but her greatest joy was taking care and spending time with her family.
Janet is survived by her son, Richard Aaron Bolander of Mt. Blanchard; daughters, Kelly Jo Buckingham of Findlay and Heidi Franklin of Findlay; grandchildren, Clarissa Michelle Perez of San Antonio, Texas, Mackenzie Hope Franklin of Findlay, and Taylor Marie Franklin of Findlay; brothers, Kenneth Warren, Jeffery Warren, and Roger Warren; and sisters, Phyllis (Terry) Shepler and Katheryn Warren. In addition to her parents and husband, Janet was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael Warren, Douglas Warren, and John Warren.
A graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2022, at Houcktown Cemetery, Jackson Township, with a time of visitation at 1 p.m. prior to the service. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500), has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions in Janet's name may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.huffordfh.com.
