Jane Payne Obituary
Jane L. Payne, 75, of Findlay, passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 29, 2024, surrounded by family.
She was born June 7, 1949, in Lima, to Edmund and Rita (Lammers) Rieman. Jane married William "Bill" Payne on Nov. 8, 1969, and he preceded her in death Nov. 21, 2012.
Jane is survived by four daughters, Michelle (Mark) Updike of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Lori Payne of Columbus, Tricia (Shea) Ryan of Staten Island, New York, and Sarah Payne of Dayton; grandchildren, Andrew Updike, Fiona Ryan, and Aidan Ryan; granddog, Emma Jane; brother, Steve (Julie) Rieman of Ottawa; and sister, Pat (Denny) Ellerbrock of Ottawa.
Jane worked at Marathon Oil Company and then retired from Blanchard Valley Health Systems after 32 years of service in support services. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, a Hospice volunteer, and New York Yankees fan.
Mass of Christian burial will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 750 Bright Road, Findlay, where the family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. Private family burial will be later at St. Michael Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Jane to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.

My sincere condolences on your loss. I knew your parents growing up watching our dads on the softball field, playing for Marathon Oil. Later, when I started working at BVH, I reconnected with your mom. You were blessed with great parents. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
