James Edward Huffman

James Edward Huffman, 84, of Findlay, passed away at 5:25 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

James was born April 4, 1939, in Upper Sandusky, to Clarence and Elizabeth "Betty" (McBeath) Huffman. James married Karen Sue Strasser and she preceded him in death in 1990. James found love again and married Patricia Baldridge in 1991 and she survives.

He is also survived by a daughter, Amy (Dr. Miguel) Jordan of Findlay; two sons, Steve Huffman and A.J. Huffman, both of Findlay; sister, Diane Elliott of Toledo; three stepsons, Brett Baldridge, Todd Baldridge, and Kenny Baldridge Jr., all of Findlay; four stepdaughters, Cindy Collins, Teri Elliott, and Jeannie Light, all of Findlay, and Joyce Liptack of Toledo; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Karen; and sister, Christine Hensel.

James graduated from Upper Sandusky High School and began college at Ohio University. After two years, he was drafted. He then served our country in U.S. Army. James then finished his Bachelor's degree in chemical and electrical engineering at The University of Findlay. James spent his career at RCA, which later became Harris Corporation, as an engineer.

James enjoyed golf, bowling, travel, going to casinos, and time spent with friends and family. James was an avid fan of Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a member of Howard United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, and 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, until the time of James' funeral at 3 p.m., all at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay. The Rev. Deb Dickerson will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, 1120 West Main Cross, Findlay, Ohio, 45840.
