James Foard Obituary

James Ruse Foard

James Ruse Foard, 83, of Findlay, passed away at Birchaven Village Wednesday, July 23, 2025. He was born in Findlay, the son of the late William and Lillian (Ruse) Foard.

Jim is survived by his wife, Jan Foard; daughter, Vicki Foard of Surprise, Arizona; stepdaughter, Brittney (Steve) Lanicek, and stepgranddaughter, Caroline Lanicek of Tiffin.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a son, Michael Foard.

He graduated from Findlay High School in 1961 and worked for the last 30 years as a contractor and enjoyed woodworking.

Jim has donated his body to the Department of Medical Education at the University of Toledo, College of Medicine. There will be no services at this time.

Memorial contribu-tions may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.

I knew Jim years ago as a bus driver and then recently through my work. He was a great guy, very caring and will be missed. Sympathy´s Jan, he´s at peace!
