Hi to all living friends and relatives,
I never had Jim as a teacher but was a student then lab assistant for Tom Reynolds for several years. I chatted with Jim casually between classes on MANY occassions. He, Tom Reynolds, and Doc Phillips were the Best teachers anyone could ask for. FHS had a stellar Biology department for decades!

We have been blessed to have been neighbors of Jim on the farm. He was so kind and spent time with our kids as they grew up. Always a great example of a Christian man that shared his faith. ( and his yearly jar of honey). He has been missed the last few years out on the farm. I am sure he is in heaven enjoying the beautiful , peaceful land God blessed us with he enjoyed so much.

I will always remember Mr. Barnhill as one of my favorite teachers. Collecting insects, feeding Chico and just learning Biology 1. Thank-you

Mr. Barnhill inspired a love for Science in me as a sophomore. He was encouraging and friendly with a good sense of humor. His love for Science was contagious. I am so grateful our paths crossed at Findlay High School. What a full and wonderful life he lived, touching so many lives along his journey.
