Jacqueline LaPointe Obituary

Jacqueline Christina (Reichert) LaPointe

Jacqueline Christina (Reichert) LaPointe, 43, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at her home after a brief illness. She was born August 18, 1982, and joined the Reichert family when she was adopted December 21, 1982. Her parents always said she was their best Christmas present.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Adeline Rimelspach; paternal grandparents, Donald and Shirley Reichert; her uncle, Thomas Rimelspach, his wife, Tina, stepdaughter, Janeel and son, Thomas Robert; and her uncle, James A. Reichert.

She is survived by her mother, Janet Reichert; father, Jerry Reichert; her uncles, James Rimelspach and David Arment, David (Linda) Rimelspach, and Jon Reichert; her aunts, Carol (Bob) Bischoff, Terri Reichert, Janet Wagner, and Jackie (Rob) Stobier; her cousins, Lisa Reichert and Ian Hartten, Kimberly (Mike) Myer, Brad (Connie) Reichert, Lindsay (Brad) Krieger, Jennifer (Brian) Lindsay, Jannie (Josh) Pheils, Eric Stoiber, Anna Stoiber, Elizabeth Stoiber, Alex (Laura) Stoiber, Vanessa Stoiber, Stephanie (Will) Lamont, Brittany Wagner, Todd (Stephanie) Wagner, and Jennifer and Jonathan Rimelspach.

Jacqueline attended Saint Michael the Archangel Grade School and graduated from Findlay High School in 2000. She attended Bowling Green State University and graduated in 2007 from the University of Toledo with a degree in independent studies and accounting.

Jacqueline was currently employed part-time at Grand Rapids Nursing Home. Before that, she worked at Perrysburg KinderCare Child Care Center. Her full-time employment included Toledo Public Schools as a senior accountant and, prior to that, Reichert and Associates, CPAs, as an auditor.

Jacqueline loved hot air ballooning, including the annual balloon fest in Findlay, Caribbean Cruises, the yearly winter family trip to Pokagon State Park, her two cats, JC and Jack, the television show "Golden Girls," and Thursday night dinners with her parents.

Jacqueline's many good qualities included her compassion for the elderly, handicapped, and small children. Her volunteering experiences gave her great joy.

Jackie was loved by her uncles in Santa Fe. They will remember her as always generous, caring, and selfless. A truly beautiful individual, inside and out.

A special thank you to her best friend, Neil Morrison, who spent many hours with Jackie laughing, sharing dreams, and giving her hope.

Visitation will take place from 4- 7 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 W. Sandusky Street, Findlay. Her funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2025, at St. Michael the Archangel, 750 Bright Road, Findlay.
