Jack Needles Obituary

Jack Benjamin Needles

Jack Benjamin Needles was born June 30, 1938, in Wyandot County to Alice (Van Atta) and Zen Needles. He passed away March 6,2025.

He graduated from Marseilles High School in 1956 and received his MBA degree from The Ohio State University in 1965. He worked at Atlas Crankshaft in Fostoria. Jack took an early retirement from Atlas and began working as a business professor at The University of Findlay in 1988. He retired from U of F in 2002.

Jack married Sandra Arnold in 1997, and she survives. They spent their winters in Sarasota, Florida. Jack was very active in the community of Fostoria, working for United Way, participating in Lamplighters, and serving on several boards, including the hospital and Good Shepherd.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Rosalie Barrett and Joyce Albert.

He is survived by his son, Devin Scott Needles (Alisa); and daughter, Julie Bea Rinaldi (Keith); as well as stepchildren, Terrie Ellison and Patrick Ellison.

A celebration of life will be locally at a later date. Local arrangements are being handled by Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home.
