Ida Sanchez Obituary
Ida Sanchez, 76, of Findlay, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, at Birchaven.
She was born Jan. 26, 1947, in Laredo, Texas, to the late Ramon and Maximina (Oveido) Sanchez.
She attended Findlay High School and following graduation, Ida worked for City Laundry and was a dedicated kitchen worker at Grand Court.
She is survived by four brothers, Manuel (Cleva) Sanchez of Fostoria, and Ramiro Sanchez, Roberto (Cheryl) Sanchez, and Armando Sanchez, all of Findlay; and two sisters, Janie Lizcano of Findlay and Ofelia (Gilbert) Bernal of Texas.
Ida was also preceded in death by four brothers, Ramon Jr., Alonso, Paul, and Arturo Sanchez; and sister, Guadalupe Salinas.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and a true servant of others, but most of all God. She was a member of Guadalupe Society.
Ida always enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews as well as her host of friends.
Visitation for friends and family will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, the Downtown Chapel, 617 West Main Cross Street, Findlay.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Michael the Archangel Parish, 750 Bright Rd., Findlay, Ohio, 45840.
