Gloria Piña Obituary

Gloria A. Piña

Gloria A. Piña, 85, of Findlay, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, in Boerne, Texas. She was born February 18, 1941, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Refugio and Herminia (Moreno) Martinez. On March 18, 1958, Gloria married Joe F. Piña in Findlay, Ohio, and he preceded her in death January 9, 2018.

Surviving Gloria are her children, Adeline (Lupe) Hernandez, Rita Piña, Yolanda Piña, all of Findlay, Joe (Rosalinda) Piña Jr. of Boerne, Texas, and Rick (Samantha) Piña of Mansfield, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Alfred (Rose) Martinez and John Martinez, both of Toledo; and a sister, Alice (Ray) Ramirez of Toledo.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gilbert Martinez and Richard Martinez; and a sister, Mary Rodriguez.

Gloria was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and was a member of their Guadalupe Society.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840. A Rosary Service will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass for Gloria will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2026, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church Downtown, 617 Main Cross Street, Findlay, with the Rev. Adam Hertzfeld as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Michael Church, 750 Bright Road, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
