Glenn Fielder Obituary

Glenn Fielder

Glenn R. Fielder, of 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 25, 2025, at the age of 83, surrounded by love and memories of a life well-lived.

Born May 29, 1941, in Fairbury, Nebraska, Glenn grew up with a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for family.

As a teenager, he spent his summers working alongside his brother, Jerry Fielder, and several cousins on his Uncle Glen's cattle ranch in Thedford, Nebraska. These would become experiences that built lifelong bonds and shaped the hardworking, dependable man he would become.

Glenn dedicated more than 40 years of his career to Bishop-Kandel Rentals, helping to maintain their many rental properties. He was known for his quiet strength, steady hand, and willingness to help wherever he was needed. Whether fixing something that was broken or offering a kind word, Glenn made a difference in the lives of many.

He is survived by his two sons, Daniel Fielder of Phoenix, Arizona, and Steven Fielder of Findlay. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Greg (Holly) Smith of Tiffin and Brian (Tina) Smith of Findlay; six grandchildren, Austin (Cheyenne) Brooks of Tiffin, Jonathon Burlile of Tiffin, Elijah (Karli) Burlile of Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, Mercedes Burlile of Tiffin, Chelsea (Jordan) Hertzfeld of Maumee, and Austin Smith of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Glenn's legacy is one of hard work, kindness, and simple joys shared with those he cared about most. There was nothing Glenn couldn't or wouldn't do for others, and he really lived life to the fullest. His family and friends will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Hey Danny, Sorry to learn of this -- your Dad was an alright guy. Of the old gang at the Findlay Beverage Center, Kris is the only one I've remained in contact with, and that's only once a year via Christmas Cards. Hope all is going well for you. Take Care!
