Gerald C. Jerry Crouch

Gerald C. "Jerry" Crouch, 78, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, in Toledo. Jerry was born in Findlay Oct. 11, 1946, to Glen C. and Marilynn (Bright) Crouch. He married Pam Norwood on April 27, 1974, and she preceded him in death Feb. 16, 2017. Jerry is survived by his brother, Robert (Jean) Crouch of Crossville, Tennessee; two sons, Bradley (Loreen) Morris of Findlay and Danny (Deven) Morris of Mt. Cory; and a daughter, Holly (John) Haws of Benton Ridge. Jerry is also survived by six grandchildren, Garrett Schling, Thomas (Hannah) Morris, Gage Haws, Taylor Morris, Hunter (Kaylee) Haws and Hailey Haws; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pam; and sisters, Judy Amztutz and Kathy Imber.

He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. Jerry was retired from Findlay City School where he was an auto shop teacher at Millstream. He was a member of the Findlay Masonic Lodge F & AM No. 227, Findlay Chapter No. 58, Findlay Council No. 50, Commandry No. 49, Toledo Zenobia Shrine, Findlay Shrine Club, Findlay Shrine Clowns, former Trustee of Zenobia Shrine, former Ambassador of Tiffin Shrine Club, former board member of Shriners Children's Hospital, Chicago. Jerry was also a member of Scottish Rite Toledo, Lake County Shrine Club, Florida, Hillbilly Club Clan 75, Mt. Cory F & AM No. 418, Road Runners, Tiffin Hornets, Tiffin Shrine Club and Bahia Shrine Temple. He loved fishing and shooting. Jerry was a life member of AMVETS No. 21, Ralph D. Cole Post No. 3, the VFW Post 4510 and a life member of NRA.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, where a Masonic Service will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. A graveside service will follow at Bechtel Cemetery, where full military rites will be conducted by Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Jerry to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave, Chicago, IL 60707.
