George Paul Buettner
October 22, 1942 – August 2, 2025

George Paul Buettner, 82, of Boca Raton, FL, and formerly of Lighthouse Point, FL, passed away on August 2, 2025.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 22, 1942. George grew up with a love for sports, especially baseball and softball. He cherished time spent with his friends and was known for his kind, easygoing nature that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He is survived by his sisters Diane Frost and Cheryl Choate, and his brother Steven (Debbie) Buettner, all of Mississippi; sisters-in-law Sylvia Estergall and Jerrilyn Fisher; brother-in-law Jim Bartolomucci; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends at the Tippary.

George was preceded in death by his beloved son, Sean Buettner; brother Dennis Buettner; brothers-in-law Ronald Choate, Allen Estergall, Bobby Devo, and Harold Fisher; and sister-in-law Annie Bartolomucci.

Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in George's memory.
