Frances Kring Obituary
Frances Evilo Kring, 101, of Findlay, died at 9:22 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Brookdale Assisted Living. She was born August 31, 1923, in Hancock County, Ohio, to the late Mahlon Zell and Lottie B. (Loy) Wyer. She married Lawrence W. Kring on November 14, 1947, and he preceded her in death March 11, 2017. They were married for 69 years.
Evilo is survived by her daughters, Sue (Charles) Williams of Findlay, Sally (Richard) Inbody of Arlington, and Karen (Harry) Snodgrass of Toledo; grandsons, Brett (Danielle) Inbody of Delaware, Ohio, Jeremy Inbody of Findlay, Damian (Meredith) Inbody of Arlington, Bryan (Ginny) Williams of Findlay, Ryan (Sophie) Snodgrass of Toledo and Darren (Laura) Snodgrass of Oak Harbor; great-grandchildren, Drew Williams, Chloe Williams, Hannah Dunick, Eve Inbody, Jason Inbody, Alexis Meeker, Halie Inbody, Grant Inbody, Claire Inbody, Case Inbody, Jacob Snodgrass, Zachary Snodgrass, Elena Snodgrass, Luc Langlois, Genevieve Langlois, Charles Langlois, Logan Snodgrass, Levi Snodgrass, and Libby Snodgrass; great-great-grandchildren, Ariel Moore, Bella Meeker, Jaxson Meeker and William Dunick.
Evilo was also preceded in death by three sisters, Cleo Johnson, Alice Powell, and Thelma Cook; and a brother, William Wyer.
Evilo had worked at First National Bank (5/3 Bank) for 25 years. Prior to that, she and Lawrence farmed in Ohio, Michigan, and Georgia. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Findlay, Riverside Grange No. 2638, and Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Findlay. She loved baking and was known for her pies. Evilo was an avid gardener, and enjoyed their annual fishing trips to Northern Canada and traveling out west and overseas.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where visitation will be from 11-2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Van Horn Cemetery.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made to Countryside Bible Church, Findlay.
