Ethel Bushong

Ethel M. Bushong, 99, of Findlay, died at 10:50 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2025, at Birchaven. She was born September 23, 1925, in Fostoria, to the late Claude P. and Gaynell (Kemp) Ward. She married Robert F. Bushong March 31, 1945, and he preceded her in death November 16, 1968.

Ethel is survived by her sons, Thomas (Sally) Bushong of Findlay and Steven (Linda) Bushong of Palm Desert, California; daughter-in-law, Karen Bushong of Arcadia; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Bushong; brothers, Grover, Harold, Donald, George and Claude Ward; sisters, Kathryn Kelbley, Betty Ziegler and Dorthy Fenton.

Ethel was a longtime member of Enon Valley Presbyterian Church. She was a former member of Moose Lodge 698. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, walking at the mall and playing bingo.

Chapel service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Knollcrest Garden, east of Findlay, where visitation will be one hour (10-11 a.m.) prior to service.

Arrangements are being handled by COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay.

Memorial contribu-tions may be made to Enon Valley Presbyterian Church, Findlay.
